IBL is Monash University's Industry Based Learning scholarship which gives scholarship recipients the opportunity to work full-time in industry.

Operated within the Cyber Security Engineering team.
The team is in charge of issuing solutions for the different cyber security teams to use. We successfully completed a number of proof-of-concepts for anything ranging from server-monitoring platforms to complete end-to-end security software. These POCs involved extensive testing to attain whether the solution was feasible for implementation or not.
The experience gave me a greater understanding of a wide range of products and tools including different types of malware and how to protect large
corporate systems from malicious attacks and infections.
